A lovely set of four vintage Spode Billingsley Rose plates from 1926. This set includes two large 11-inch dinner plates and two 7-inch bread and butter plates, all featuring the same beautiful rose pattern.

The Billingsley Rose pattern is named after William Billingsley, an important English porcelain artist. Each plate has hand-painted pink roses with green leaves on white bone china. The quality of these plates shows why Spode became one of England's top porcelain makers.

All four plates date from the same era (1926 with red backstamps).

Style Notes:
The Billingsley Rose pattern is a perfect example of classic English formal style with its detailed flowers. These plates look great in traditional homes and go well with silver utensils, crystal glasses, and nice tablecloths.
