The stunning blue glaze along the top, … Read more This colorful ceramic vase or pitcher is attributed to Amphora out of Czechoslovakia. The stunning blue glaze along the top, handle and bottom rim is vibrant and catches the eye. The “church window” style design along the body of the piece features blue, green and violet colors. This piece is in very good condition, with no noted chips. There are two slight crazed lines on the inner spout area of the pitcher; see photograph. The bottom of the piece features what appears to be the blue oval maker’s mark for Amphora out of Czechoslovakia. It also bears roman numerals along the side, and curiously a stamp mark that might read “Valencia.” In short, two many vague marks for an armature collector like me to know for certain! See less
