It is NOT a recent reproduction print. It has become increasingly more difficult to find couture design prints with the passage of time. This design is illustrated and signed by Pierre Mourgue who was the house illustrator of the famous Gazette du Bon Ton and was one of most revered fashion illustrators of the early-mid century years. His illustrations were sophisticated and demure, subtle and alluring. This image speaks to that! Note that he showcases both the front and rear views of the couture dress.
