Lovely antique circa 1880-1900 Austrian Thonet bentwood extra large coat rack A very good looking well made and collectable Thonet … Read more Lovely antique circa 1880-1900 Austrian Thonet bentwood extra large coat rack A very good looking well made and collectable Thonet bentwood coat stand, there are many variations of these racks and many copies, this is the original, this is where it all began, this is the extra large version so its over two meters tall and it has the very desirable eight prong not six prong revolving top This is a real lifestyle piece, imagine a Panama, Bowler and flat cap on the top, a Burberry rain coat on one hook with a tweed jacket hanging on another and then a couple of large Harrods umbrellas in between, very stylish. Condition wise this piece is well travelled, we have cleaned waxed and polish it, it is in lovely condition throughout Dimensions Height:- 202cm Width:- 71cm Depth:- 71cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
