C1950's; French Louis XV Style Fauteuil arm chair, in a tan or light brown finish, with a cream and tan, … Read more C1950's; French Louis XV Style Fauteuil arm chair, in a tan or light brown finish, with a cream and tan, and soft gold colorations of a "To the Trade, Textile by Pierre Frey. which is a trellis-like, and/or durable cotton, viscose, wool and rayon combination of a slightly raised, damask pattern textile, with double self-welted detailing throughout. The body is a kiln dried frame structure, with carved cerrule arm rests, rounded back rest, curvilinear legs anding in raised points.

Seat of chair has 2 small, minute spots, adjacent to one another and about an inch or so apart, as an image indicate. We do not know if a professional cleaning service can take the small wee spots in last image as indicates, thus we maintain the lisitng as such, and at the prevue of Buyer's, beyond except for that, the Textile on this chair is exquisite companion to the frame, also in great condition. To an aside, sometimes people contrast the upholstery for a seat vs' seat back, and use either a solid or a leather for the seat, as an option, considering the frame and all the textile is in great condition, except for the 2 minute, small spots.
