Born in China during the early years of the 20th century, this elegant piece was originally conceived to be used as a stool. Featuring a woven rattan square top sitting above a waisted apron adorned with delicate low-relief motifs, the table is raised on four straight legs with horse hoofed extremities, connected to one another through humpbacked stretchers.
