Foliate back splat crest with reeded rails and … Read more Antique early 19th century American Classical sabre leg carved mahogany side chairs. Foliate back splat crest with reeded rails and legs. One slip seat upholstered with floral needlepoint; the other with damask (these are easy to cover). Highly figured mahogany. Chairs measure 32" tall x 17 5/8" wide across the front seat rail. The span of the sabre legs from front to back at the floor measures 20". Seat depth is 16"; seat height 17". Good condition - scattered wear, minor nicks. See less
