2009; Large and Heavy, Daum France Glass, an acid-etched, "Pate de Crystal," with a geometric cube or squares in a … Read more 2009; Large and Heavy, Daum France Glass, an acid-etched, "Pate de Crystal," with a geometric cube or squares in a concentric pattern, based on the shape of the vase, think Escher. Either way there the raised squares are polished, while the rest is a satin finish and a sinuous give and take to the overall design esthetic. ALSO the soothing coloration which was utilized, as these come in certain colors introduced on different years, but this beauty is alight Celadon green and gradates to a Kelly green and into a Jade Green coloration given the natural light that refracts at anytime during the day, natural and unnatural light. Piece is signed on the underside, Daum, France. In excellent condition.
