C.1932; Rene Lalique, signed "Biskra," Opalescent Crystal glass Vase/Vessel with a long, vertical leaf OR in French, "Plumes," design motif. Model # 1078., with the Acid-etched signed base bottom along the edge, as 2nd to the last image indicates, R. Lalique, France. From a hand-bag Designer's Treasure trove of Decorative pieces and Fine, "To the Trade," Furniture and Lighting, Kitchen, Tableware, etc within Palm Beach Island, Florida, a transplant from Manhattan, NYC and The Hampton's. "Their mantra au current status is, "Out with the old, and in with the new," has commenced. The piece is; at best, gorgeous, iconic and ethereal, BUT sophistication of the utmost, as Lalique is known for their quality pieces of distinction, as this piece surmises thru and thru.
