This rustic beauty, circa late 1960s to early 1970s, looks fabulous in the spring, summer and fall overflowing with blooms or greens such as petunias, fuchsias, English ivy, lobelias, snapdragon and so much more! Frame and whimsical triple-rod handle are handcrafted from forged steel rods while the curled lattice-type decorative design that makes up the body of the basket, is made from worked steel. It measures 13¼” x 12½” x 12½” H/W/D (height includes handle); top interior width/depth 8½” (7½” from the bottom; interior height 5½”; weight 2 lbs. 14 oz. Structurally sound, joints are welded solid. In excellent overall condition with age-appropriate surface wear that presents as a weathered burnished rustic finish (please review all photos). Unknown metalworking artisan from Mexico handcrafted this beauty sometime in the mid 20th-Century.
