The desk appears to be walnut with a burlwood center drawer. It has a curved top and 3 curved drawers that are along the top leaving a wide knee hole. The desk is believed to be designed by Eliel Saarinan but has not been confirmed. The center drawer is marked inside Rway. The desk measures approximately 46 inches long, 19 inches deep, and 29-3/4 inches tall at the back and 29-1/4 inches tall at the writing height. The top narrows in the center to approximately 16-1/4 inches deep. The knee height is approximately 22-1/2 inches and 43/1/2 inches wide. The desk is sturdy and has signs of use including broken drawer corners, missing veneer and chips, dings, stains, scrapes and scratches. The center drawer divider insert is damaged. See less
