A vintage (20th century) wallpaper ink-roller from England, repurposed as a table lamp. The carved rubber cylinder reveals a fabulous overlapping fish-scale motif with Art Nouveau flourish, a design that surely would have printed a dazzling wallcovering. A new linen lampshade features a slight hourglass shape, complementing the scalloped edges within the pattern wrapping the base.
