An uncommon, original, and unique vintage intricately hand carved and polychrome painted Indonesian Aboriginal zoomorphic elephant sculpture dotted art box, handmade by artisans of Timor or Bali, Indonesia. Having a hinged folding top for concealed storage, that lifts upright figural mask form. A unique example of modern Aboriginal art done in traditional Batik folk art style, that displays beautifully. Circa 20th century.
