The whimsical and clever handwoven design of this beauty was patterned after mid 20th-century milk cans, which were smaller in stature than their predecessors. Handcrafted from natural willow with rattan stakes in an over and under weave in a naturally aged soft tan and beige hue. This cutie measures 13” high with the lid on and 12½” high with the lid off; 10½”x 10” W/D; interior 7½” x 7½” x 11¾” W/D/H; weight 1 lb. 2 oz. In excellent condition with age-appropriate wear. Photos were taken in the round to show all sides and any varying shades and nuances of color and texture. There is no makers mark. This beauty will blend harmoniously with a French Country or rustic chic farmhouse style. Nicely-sized, it will serve beautifully as a decorative storage floor basket in a mudroom, powder or guest room or as a rustic “vase” arranged with faux blooms or faux grasses (without the lid) in an entryway.
