Acquired from an art dealer, who purchased it from a merchant family in the Asakura region of Fukuoka Prefecture. Unsigned, sealed. Dated in the seal: 1910. Masterfully painted.. Watercolor and ink on paper. Beautifully mounted on silk, paper on back. Lacquered wood roller. Very good condition - some age wear, minor staining, foxing and creases, clean silk mount. Japan, Meiji era, 1910.
