Giclee print on paper of Maguire’s original painting hand-watercolored and signed on recto by artist. Framed under glass and ready to hang. First floor photo is in natural, indirect light; others are under interior lighting.
The framing set-up is unique: under glass in a gold metal frame, matted on velvet green textile, with the whole frame framed in a vintage black and gold, closed-corner wood plein air frame. OOAK
Mary Maguire, a quintessential New Englander, is inspired by, and draws upon, historical pieces of art, creating a sea captain’s treasure chest of works. From whimsical animals and lover’s-eye portraits to garden follies and sailing vessels, her playfulness and powerful command of color make her pieces irresistibly collectible.
