A one-of-a-kind piece of American history. This hand-carved, hand-painted wooden animal figure was once part of a carnival ride or carousel. Created about 1910, this piece, with its graphic-yet-rustic paint job and substantial solid wood body make an unforgettable display piece or dramatic bench/chair.
Yard stick for scale.
Wooden body is attached to a steel cleat that hold it upright and at an angle as on the original ride. Can easily be bolted to a base for added stability.
