Fabulous vintage pair of Rosenthal Netter Aldo Londi for Bitossi Art Pottery candleholders, made in Italy. Dating to the 1960’s.
Rare design and coloration on classic shape of Bitossi candleholders.
Gorgeous shade of rich yellow on a base of textured dark terracotta pottery. The body of each base has classic peppering of the terracotta, highlighted in bronze/ brown. Each has a 2” incised abstract flower in brown. Bobeches and basins in smooth yellow glaze.
Rosenthal Netter Made in Italy sticker on bottom of one candleholder.
Measuring 3.75”dia x 6.75”h.
Earthy and organic. Very charming. Beautiful with or without candles. Spectacular pieces.
Excellent vintage condition.
