The tapered band is etched with an Art Nouveau-influenced design of heart-shaped leaves with tiny raindrops and curved lines; the design is repeated on the inside of the ring (which would have been the back of the spoon). This simple, sinuous, sensual design is subtle and endearing. The condition is excellent, and the ring fits snugly and evenly. Oneida has a fascinating history -- look it up!
