Stunning, Creamer but unmarked, made of high-quality English hard paste porcelain. In the " Chinoiserie", English Regency Style, probably made before 1820. Possibly by Spode or Newhall.
The design process we attribute to the early overprint "Black Bat" method. Note the Stippled detail in the design, figures and background.
A Bat Print porcelain item was made with the time-consuming stippling technique for decoration, however, this process was abandoned around 1820, because it was so labor intensive.
It has all of the maker's imperfections, including misalignment of design at the top. The Creamer also shows on each side the Regency Style, of "Chinoiserie" in its decor of dancing and happy women, exotic (bamboo leaves) plants, urns and an oriental style castle by a stream and mountains in the background.
The piece has substantial crazing and foxing in the interior, however, considering its age it is in very nice condition. The handle is solid and shows no repair work to it.
