  • "Patti J.: I spend 10 yrs in CT and being from Oklahoma with 'that' accent, was always odd (wo)man out. I get it, believe me. Are you interested in fun pillows? Great fabrics. I'm going a little more modern so parting with some of my former faves...."

  • "Mary B.: Learned everything I needed to know about life at PemDay - KC made me who I am. The nicest, most generous, honest, hard working, kindest people...I was blessed to live there. But "I love that dirty water, Oh Boston, you're my home!!" Crank down the windows and smell the ocean..and thankfully, anybody who doesn't talk like me, is the one with the accent."

  • "Patti J.: Shipping cost is outrageous ... don't blame you at all. Sounds like you spent some good, not great, years in KC. Glad to have you though .... Good luck with your cool, NH place!"

  • "Mary B.: Mary - Thanks! Great chair but shipping not worth it. I purchased within 20 minutes of home north of Boston. I was a teacher at the Pembroke/Sunset Hill Schools, got my masters at the Conservatory. I'm from the Boston area, live on the ocean - the NH cottage in the mts. was my family's summer home - I renoved it. KC is nice but not for me.....Hope you sell that funky chair!"

  • "Patti J.: HI again Patti, I realized I didn't answer all your questions. There aren't other shipping options that I know of unfortunately. Also, glad to hear you lived in our fair city for a while. How did a NH girl find her way to Kansas City?"

    June 28, 2016, 6:40 a.m.

  • "Patti J.: I think it's comfortable! Here are the measurements at their largest points: width 31" (arm to arm); Depth 27" (seat depth 23.5"); heighth 31" (floor to top of chair back)"

  • "Thanks, Mary. Is it comfy? This is our weekend retreat and I just dumped all of the old 1960 loungers my family had in there. The space is also it huge? Finally - are there other shipping options? I lived in KC for 6 years and have a degree in music from UMKC."

  • "Patti J.: HI Patti, I think it would work beautifully in a shabby chic environment. I've recently sort of changed by 'vibe' and that is the environment in which I had it. I can come down to $285. Hope that helps!"

  • "Hi Mary - Is this chair available and would it work in a cottage in New Hampshire that is shabby chic? The shipping is very expensive..could you lower the price to reflect that? Thanks, Patti"

  • "Connie G.: HI Connie, The same fabric is all the way around the chair and I'm not sure what it is. The frame is very sturdy! If there is more info you 'd like, I'll try my best to answer. Thanks for your interest!"

  • "Hi Mary, What fabric is on the sides and back of the chair? Do you know the manufacturer? Is the frame sturdy? Thanks so much for your information. Connie"
