Beautiful Mid Century Set of Culver Coronet Set of 8 Highball Glasses -5 1/2"H x 2 3/4"W Culver Coronet Ice Bucket 5"H x 6"W. of 8 Culver uses 22kt Gold pattern over clear glass, and holds 10 ounces.
Top and bottom gold band has embossed symbols: Sun (Life/Energy), Bird (Freedom/Hope, Fruit (fertility/abundance), Flower (Royalty/Purity) design.
Round gold medallion is divided into 4 parts with similar embossed symbols: Flower, Sun, design with Fleur De Lys tips. Signed with Culver signature.
Culver was founded in Brooklyn New York in 1939, and was sold to high end luxury stores. Culver developed a method of applying 22kt gold on the glass. The gold, combined with bright colors and clear glass were used to created unique designs and patterns.
