Description: (4) ceramic prototype plates, feature Frank Lloyd Wright designs, (3) marked "HEATH..." and dated on bottom/(1) unmarked.
Provenance: Edith Heath Estate (1911-2005 - origin), design historian Steve Cabella (2014-2018 - Heath estate liquidator, collector and owner of the Modern I Shop, San Anselmo, CA), purchase by dC&A collection (07/30/2018 - see receipt description and 'S.C.' initials/signature of former owner).
Note: Each prototype plate was created, part of a commemorative design project, for the Frank Lloyd Wright, Marin Civic Center. The Frank Lloyd Wright commemorative plate by Heath Ceramics, in association with the exhibition Frank Lloyd Wright: In the Realm of Ideas (Museum of History, Smithsonian 1988-1990), was on exhibit at the Wright-designed Marin Civic Center.
