This is a traditional style of Chinese painted wooden Box from Shan Xi, China. It has about 100 years history. Normally it was used to store jewelry and valuable accessories as well as clothing accessories etc for ladies. It is opened on top and has a antique latch on the front. Also, it has beautiful hand painted Chinese traditional design floral painting on the front. It is not only a gorgeous antique collectible items but also a wonderful room furniture.
