A rare original period antique First Edition print after watercolor portrait of Colonel Francis William Rhodes (known as Frank, the best known member of the Rhodes family after his brother Cecil) by Mortimer Menpes. Comes from a rare antique book by Mortimer Menpes, published in London, England in 1901. Gold leaf top edge, original title page. Excellent condition - minor age wear on the border, never framed.
Mortimer Luddington Menpes (1855-1938), was an Australian-born artist, author, printmaker & illustrator. England, 1901.
