Benji Asada (Japanese, 1899-1984), Moon at Kiyomizu Temple. Loose and unframed woodblock print that has been trimmed. Because of this actual date of production is unknown. Presumed to be middle third of the 20th century. The print depicts the hazy moon after a rain illuminates the pagoda of Kiyomizu Temple. The print measures 9" x 12".
The print is in very good condition. Please note the print has been trimmed resulting in a small portion of the top of the pagoda and some lettering to be cut off.
