It has natural oak wood construction with black painted stiles and turned legs. There is an old repair on the underside to stabilize a crack which is shown in the pictures. The rush seat has been given a new coat of shellac in order to help preserve the rush and is in good condition. As with any piece of preowned furniture this bench has some light scratches and marks commensurate with use and age. This Windsor bench is strong and stable and ready for another generation of use in your home. Please look carefully at the pictures as they make up an important part of the description.
