Rare and beautiful china bowl. This Imperial Geddo Footed Fruit Bowl, from Syracuse China, is from production that began around 1885 at the Syracuse China Factory. This Imperial Geddo mark is faintly shown on the bottom. The bowl is 6” high, 9” wide, and 7” deep. The rim and feel still have some gold that was applied after the kiln firing and the spray of colorful flowers show beautifully on all sides.
This deep dish has jagged and rippled edges, gold around lip, and gold on feet.
Included is a copy of the detailing the Imperial Geddo line with the bowl that also shows the logo on this item. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs on this rare and remarkable antique.
