A vintage catlinite buffalo pipe by "Big Eagle" Bill Bryan. Nicely carved buffalo bowl, attached to a wood stem adorned with feathers, fur and beadwork. Signed "Big Eagle" on the bottom of the bowl.
It's in nice condition with slight overall wear. Some burn marks or discoloration on the stem. Slight scratches on the bottom and the top of the bowl, as highlighted in the last photo. The bowl detaches from the stem due to aging of the original adhesive or sealant as shown in the photos, but remains securely connected with careful handling. For safe shipping, I will pack the bowl and the stem separately. Please refer to photos carefully before making your purchase.
