Pair 19th Century French Louis XVI Gilded Armchairs ~ Fauteuils will add timeless classical elegance to any setting! The design features an open, airy look thanks to suspended armrests and tapered & fluted legs. The rectilinear design of the seat and seat back afford lots of comfort for the luxurious fabric which remains quite serviceable. Carved with spiral ribbon and acanthus plumes, each frame has been given a gold finish which has achieved a lovely patina over the decades only adding to the visual appeal.
