19th century glazed ceramic depicting a carriage carrying a turbaned figure holding a child, also wearing a turban, drawn by two dogs. A very unusual and quite amusing piece, that, honestly is a bit of a mystery. European, but from which country? It's hard to say for sure, but there is no denying the appeal of this wonderful item.
A figure wearing large earrings and what appears to be a turban sits with a child in her lap, also turbaned, the child is also holding something. What I love most is the expression on the dog's faces. A whimsical piece of folk art that will make you smile.
