A vintage 1960's Labarge gilded carved wood wall mirror. Made in Italy. Has the manufacturers tag on the back.
From a Mid-Century estate in Ohio.
Very heavy. Comes ready to hang with original embedded hanger hooks, and new wire.
Ready to hang, be it horizontal or vertical.
Hand-carved wooden frames, gilded with real gold leaf, have a depth and softness that modern reproductions simply can’t replicate.
I love it because it exhibits real Hollywood Regency glamour!

- This is an original 1960's piece. It never left the original owners estate, until recently. Upon moving, it did sustain … moreThis is an original 1960's piece. It never left the original owners estate, until recently. Upon moving, it did sustain some slight knicks, scratches, and dings. There is one scratch in the glass, about 2" long. There are numerous areas in the gilding where it was scratched or dinged. These have been touched up with a gilding liquid. The red paint under the gilding is showing through. The piece has a nice time worn patina, with most of the gilding intact. less
