This plate is truly special. An antique Belle Epoch style dessert plate produced sometime between 1896 - 1905 in France by Limoges. The whiteware is Laviolette with hand painted blue Forget-Me-Nots. Although this plate is not signed by the artist, the Limoges backstamp and quality of the artwork indicate that this plate was likely painted in France at one of the Limoges artist studios. The plate itself features a gilded edge and raised, scalloped border. This romantic piece would be that perfect 'something blue' for a summer wedding.
Measurements: 6.5" Diameter.
Condition: Excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. The hand-painted flowers are in superb condition.
