Detailed and well made, most likely created to be used as an offering tray laden with fruit, candles, or flowers. We note the varied shapes of the piercings to include circles, stars, teardrops and quarter-circles, as well as the heavy rope design used to rim the outside edge, and its generous 18" size as all elements adding to the overall richness of this piece. In excellent condition with a few tarnish spots due to age and use. See less
