Traditional 18th Century Italian desk commode from the Piemonte region made from solid walnut.
A fine Italian walnut and inlaid bureau with drop leaf dating back to 18th century, waving front, three deep and large drawers; a fall-front opening to reveal a fitted interior with compartments and five small drawers. It stands on solid very feet.
The scrolled decoration makes this antique Italian desk commode a practical piece of furniture for any bedroom. Elegant and in very good antique condition.
With drop-leaf open it is 32 1/2 inches deep
