This early American depression Vaseline green glass open sugar bowl was made by the Federal Glass Co. from Columbus Ohio … Read more This early American depression Vaseline green glass open sugar bowl was made by the Federal Glass Co. from Columbus Ohio and they made this sugar bowl in their Georgian pattern that they produced from 1931-36. The Georgian pattern is a pressed glass pattern that was made in a mould that features a floral band border over the top of hanging garland going all the way around the piece with a lovely pair of birds on one side and a bouquet of flowers on the other. This sugar bowl is the 3 3/4" tall lidded version of the Georgian pattern that is rarely scene with very few examples that have been found with the lid. This Federal Glass Co. Georgian Pattern open sugar bowl is in "Excellent Condition" with no cracks, no repairs, and only slight wear to the piece with a couple of chips for the age of the piece.
