Holding a delicate yellow parasol, she shields herself from the softly falling snowflakes, a hallmark of Harunobu’s poetic and refined style. Originally created around 1765, this piece exemplifies the bijin-ga (beautiful women) genre of ukiyo-e. This is a later restrike, not an original 18th-century striking, but it beautifully preserves the delicate lines and soft color palette of Harunobu’s timeless work.

Framed in a simple black frame, measuring 29.5" tall by 8.75" wide. It is in very good vintage condition as shown, with age appropriate wear, with some scratches and scuffs to the frame as shown. See less
