This particular example of his work, a signed table lamp, is made of bronze and pre-dates his work in the "new form" of Art Deco, being Art Nouveau styled, with its more organic, naturalist motifs.

The lamp is in excellent condition, save a small area on the rim of the base which had a price tag on it which took off the patina. Not to worry, it will return, eventually, with exposure to the air.
In the meantime I've clear-waxed the entire base and as you can see, the patina is rich and lustrous.

The shade is new, as are the electrical fittings (though using some vintage parts, all brass). The onyx and brass finial is an addition as well.

Use whatever wattage bulbs you prefer, for as much wattage as you with. There's a hi-lo switch on the line which allows for half-wattage, full, or on-off. Newly wired.

An "important" piece with stature and beauty.

Measures 23 high to the top of the finial. The base is 5 1/4 in diameter and the shade is 14 by 8 1/2 high. See less
