Circular ceramic platter in the manner of Jean Cocteau. This bold colorful piece features the portrait of a figurative subject with a pronounced nose, pink skin, red lipstick, long blue, and red eyelashes, blue eyes, and curly multicolor hair. The background is in a striped blue, red and black design. A blue-glazed band decorates the edges at the exterior. A small sculptural black and white ceramic detail protrudes out at the right side, reminiscent of a fin.
Signature is located in the bottom right, and the back features a baked-in hanging loop for easy installation.
