This large brass planter was made in Italy in the mid 20th century. The round base is decorated with a hammered finish and repousse buttons. The top is cinched with rope trim and the flared rim has rope trim also. The hammered finish actually resembles an alligator or crocodile pattern… very unique.
The opening for a plant measures 10”.
