Original painting by Spanish artist Manuel Munoz Merida, signed lower left. Large scale summer landscape with heavy impasto. Very good condition, displays quite well in original frame. Direct from a local estate, please let me know if you have any questions.
Painted on a 36" x 24" stretcher. Frame is about 44" x 32".
Very good condition, looks great as found. No damage to the canvas, no holes, no rips, lays flat, canvas is tight, no water damage etc. Paint is clean and bright overall, minor craquelure as expected, minor stretcher mark along top edge, a few tiny imperfections in the paint but nothing dramatic, no repairs, no inpainting. Frame (original) is nice, tight and solid, minor scratch on right-hand rail, minor bruise on top, back corner, looks great. Hanger is also good, ready for the wall.
