Fluted Art Deco Disko Metal Vase by Just Andersen, Denmark. 1940s.
Danish Art Deco vase with beautiful patina. Designed by Just Andersen in the 1940s and manufactured by his own company in Denmark. Made from Disko metal, which was an alloy he invented himself with inspiration from Greenland. The recipe was secret, and he never revealed it to anyone.
Elegant vertical lines with flared top. Beautiful brownish green color.
Stamped under bottom with company logo and model number 2318.
Height: 18 cm. Diameter 12 cm.
Good vintage condition consistent with age and use. The alloy has been worn off on the inside. Some bruises on the edges. This piece has an attribution mark,
