Offered is a vintage 1970s burnished ceramic tall ribbed candlestick with stopper from Tonalá in Jalisco, Mexico and created by Ken Edwards renowned for his studio, El Palomar. The bird and flower are typical of the region, made from natural tints native to the area. Also features their signature agave plant and butterflies.The base is a soft beige and the hand painted decoration is deep chocolate, navy blue, olive green, and sky blue.
Measures 10.25" to surface, 10.75" to tip of spike, 2.75" diameter at top rim, 3.5" base diameter
