Offered is a striking Mid-Century brutalist torch cut brass angelfish form wall sculpture, circa 1950s - 1960s. It is very much in the style of renowned metal sculptors Curtis Jere, Paul Evans, Marc Weinstein, and Henrik Horst. This artisan-crafted sculpture is designed with individually cut pieces attached to metal rods and mounted on a metal frame. The frame has a cut out hoop attached for easy wall mounting. It has been cleaned but not brightened as the age-appropriate patina adds to the charm and nautical or coastal theme - see detailed images. .

There is age appropriate patina and tarnish, and we have cleaned but not brightened the piece - see detailed images. The metal is malleable and the fish tails can be slightly adjusted by hand. Any wear is commensurate with use. We suggest professional installation, there is hardware welded/attached to the frame and it requires only one (1) sturdy nail for hanging, but the fish edges are sharp and that must be kept in mind while handling and determining its placement. less
