Crafted from solid cast brass in intricate detail after the manner of Louis XIV, it features an undulating pierced apron embellished with shell and foliate motifs, with three cabriole legs providing support, also adorned with foliate details. Halfway down, a second surface appears with a matching apron, and both surfaces are comprised of luxuriously veined onyx in splendid natural earth tones for an opulent yet carefree effect.
