additional information:
the austrian architect fritz nagel, born in vienna in 1885 as the son of the furniture manufacturer adolf nagel, studied architecture from 1903 to 1906 together with mauritius herrgesell at the vienna school of applied arts. As a student of the important professor josef hoffmann, he was under the direct influence of the avant-garde spirit of viennese modernism.

the special aesthetics of viennese art nouveau, with its clear and strict formal language, is also reflected in this serving table, which is based on a design by fritz nagel from 1908.

the constructive style piece is made from ebonized and limed oak and features elegant aluminum details. It is a replica in the style of the vienna secession, which was made by an unknown viennese furniture maker around 1980.
