Exceptional vintage carved hardwood opium pillow in the form of an elephant with it's trunk up! Very cool form, unlike most of the other opium pillows you'll see on the market. It is likely c.1950's or so, has some nice patina to the Oxblood reddish brown finish.
Measures 15 3/4" wide, 6" deep and 4 1/4" tall.
General age appropriate wear from the decades. No real damage to speak of. Normal age cracking along the grain, all nice and tight.
