The Apothecary Box is made from fruit wood, with a single bottom drawer, with flush mounted handles, shaped initial plaque with the name ‘Isabella’ scribed on it. The interior contains 4 glass jars with stoppers and a measuring glass beaker housed within a felt lined individually partitioned box, below the bottles is a drawer which locks via a pull out brass pin located next to the lock plate, once the locking pin is removed the drawer opens. C1850

This beautiful box is in lovely condition, the lid just needs a new felt lining, this does not take away how lovely this box really is, all the bottles are complete, the box remains in original condition.

This box would make a great drinks caddy or as a display piece. See less
