A compact, sleek armchair that blends modernist, constructivist, brutalist, and rustic-modern styles. It features a frame made of light, dry wooden cylinders that support a seat and backrest crafted from exquisite straw rope with a geometric design. Attributed to Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet, known as Audoux-Minet, in France in 1950
The frame is, crucially, not coated with lacquer or varnish. It features a stunning patina.
There is not a maker's mark on the chair. It is an authentic Auduoux Minet, as seen in design catalogues and design history. We take full responsibility for authenticity of this item.
