The dark sleek surface of the chair is accentuated with three rectangular plaques in the original color of the wood, on which passages from the I Ching, the Taoist classic 'book of changes' are carved in Chinese calligraphy. Hand Crafted, the gracefully curved lines and sleek silhouette reflect the sophisticated style of Zhou Yi furniture. Made of strong Elmwood, hand lacquered in a beautiful dark distressed finish. The intricate detailing of the backrest, the scroll shaped backing and tapered legs give the design a look of sophistication and a unique appeal. See less
